Trinity Lutheran Church Planned Giving Fund
The current activities of our church are
supported through our weekly or monthly pledges
and gifts. But there are many needs that reach
beyond the scope of the congregation’s regular
operating budget. This includes missions, outreach
in our community, and capital improvement
projects. The Planned Giving Fund is designed to
receive gifts while you’re living, or bequests at
life’s end, above and beyond your weekly
pledges for current expenses and building fund. The
Trinity Planned Giving Fund is not meant to replace
or in any way alter memorial gifts, which will be
WHAT KIND OF GIFT CAN I GIVE?
The Planned Giving Fund will consider gifts of all kinds in accordance with its gift acceptance policy.
Examples of gifts that will support Trinity’s goals are:
*Stocks & Bonds
IS THERE A MINIMUM AMOUNT FOR A PLANNED GIVING GIFT?
There is no minimum gift amount. All amounts will be joyfully welcomed.
WHAT WILL MY PLANNED GIVING GIFT OR BEQUEST DO?
Up to 25% of available funds will be distributed in each of the following categories. Funds may or may not be distributed each year.
Up to 25%-Missions and outreach into the community. Examples: food banks & charitable organizations.
Up to 25%-Missions and outreach beyond our community. Examples: world hunger, mission churches, disaster relief.
Up to 25%-Capital improvements, purchases, building debt reduction & restoration, but not limited to Trinity’s facilities.
Up to 25%-For additional missions & capital support. Examples: health missions, senior adult ministries.
A percentage of liquid assets will be disbursed annually when a total of $50,000 of liquid assets in the fund is reached.
