Moving Forward with Trinity at 150: For Generations to Come

Last Sunday was an exciting and historic day for Trinity. After a morning of great worship, including the celebration of Camp Sunday, many gathered for our annual meeting in the Fellowship Hall. Before the congregation was the resolution to implement the proposals of the Trinity at 150 Vision – including a $100,000 commitment toward the Bihar Partnership, the completion of the tuck pointing project, and the remodeling of the church building as outlined in the T150 Appeal.

The results of the vote on the resolution were: 115 yes, 2 no, and 2 abstaining – or a 96.6% approval. Many thanks were shared for the faithful service of those on our appeal teams, council, committees and cabinets – and for all the people of Trinity who have responded with generosity and enthusiasm to the vision before us.

In the coming months we will be selecting a contractor, securing financial arrangements, and entering the design phase of the project. There are many details to finalize on the remodeling – and we will continue to look for your input, your questions, your concerns – just as we have tried to do all along. We will also celebrate our official commitment to the Bihar Partnership on February 10-11 by welcoming David Wangaard from Lutheran World Relief as guest preacher.

These are exciting days for Trinity! I am so eager to see how these enhancements to our building, our technology, and our outreach will help us expand God’s reach to those in our community and beyond who are hungry for help, for meaning in their lives, and for love.

If you haven’t yet committed to be a part of this important campaign, we invite you to do so at this time. If you would like to make additional payments in support of this vision, we encourage you to do so and would greatly appreciate your generosity.

Thanks for all you are doing for generations to come!
