Mental Health First Aid Class 2025

 Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches individuals how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. Instructor Thomas Heiar is the Population Health Coordinator at CG Public Health focused on prevention and raising awareness around mental health. Cerro Gordo Public Health received a mental health grant from the University of Iowa that will cover the cost of training materials. Lunch provided. Space is limited to the first 25 people.
