Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry Appreciation Banquet 2023
The Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry (HTSM) team gathered for an appreciation banquet on January 5, 2023. The guest presenter was Linda Smith, the founder of Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry, who presented an inspirational message via Zoom on transformation. HTSM started at Trinity in 2009 and has grown to be an ecumenical team of 15 people called to be vessels of God’s healing. In 2022, the team provided 115 healing touch sessions, either in-person or from a distance. They meet on a monthly basis for continuing education and provide laying-on of hands for our fifth Sunday healing services. Thank you to the HTSM team for all the ways they share God’s healing love. A special thank you to Sharon Magelssen, Denise Dahl, and Ellie Koester for preparing and serving the meal. What is it?
Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry is a sacred healing art which integrates prayer, the laying-on of hands, and anointing with oil found within our Christian tradition to enhance the body’s capacity for healing. It is a safe complementary therapy to regular and ongoing medical care.

How does it work?
The Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry team member uses intentional connection with God; prayer; meditation; essential oils; and physical touch, to serve as a conduit for God’s healing energies to flow to the individual.
