Using familiar and less familiar Old Testament stories, we are exploring these “heart and soul” matters and how they impact daily life. This weekend our focus is on Sin. In Genesis 3, we read the story of the “fall” and how evil enters the world through the actions of Adam and Eve. This famous story has shaped centuries of Christian theology around brokenness and sin. How do we understand sin today? What distinctions can be made between personal and systemic sin? Christ’s cross and resurrection offer relief and freedom to all trapped by sin – incredibly good news for a fallen world!
