Betsy began serving as Trinity’s Director of Contemporary Worship on March 1, 2016. She brings great experience and passion for engaging all ages in worship and praise to her position. A well-known musician across North Iowa, Betsy currently teaches music at Jefferson Elementary School in Mason City.

Betsy graduated from Wartburg College in 2004 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree, with a voice major and piano minor. She finished her Master of Education from Morningside College in 2015.

Betsy and her husband, Tom, have two sons, Jude and James. She loves spending time with her family, playing music with Tom and friends in their band, Betty and the Gents, spending time with friends, and cooking new recipes.
